Breakthrough to Bring New Doc Offering to NATPE

TORONTO, January 10: Breakthrough Entertainment has picked
up the worldwide rights to the military-themed The World Without US, and will offer up the feature-length documentary for
buyers at NATPE.

The 85-minute special questions the reasons, benefits and
consequences of U.S. military presence around the world. The World Without
US
uses news footage and commentary from
foreign political analysts, military advisors and everyday people, along with
realistic future scenarios to investigate how U.S. foreign policy affects the
lives of millions of people globally. From producers Mitch Anderson and Jason
J. Tomaric, The World Without US was
filmed on location in parts of the U.K., the Middle East and Asia.

The World Without US
offers a unique point of view without having any political allegiance,” said
Nat Abraham, the head of Canadian acquisitions and sales for Breakthrough
Entertainment. “It is both politically charged and opinionated, making for good
drama while staying true to the facts and journalistic integrity.”
