Bravo’s Top Chef Fires Up for a Third Season

NEW YORK, January 3: Top Chef, Bravo’s top-rated search for
culinary talent, has been renewed for a third season, with a nationwide casting
call beginning this month.

“The second season of Top Chef has outperformed even our highest expectations both
in ratings and the quality of this non-fictional competitive drama," says
Lauren Zalaznick, Bravo’s president. "We look forward to discovering
another group of culinary talents with the same passion for food and cooking
with commanding personalities that make Top Chef a must see every Wednesday night."

To date, Top Chef has commanded a 56 percent increase among total
viewers as compared with the first season and is Wednesday’s number-one cable
series among women 25-54. It is the top-rated food series on U.S. cable
television.
