Blackjack Bowling Premieres in Singapore

HONG KONG, September 25:
Star Chinese Channel in Singapore will launch a local version of Sony Pictures
Television International’s (SPTI) unscripted game show format Blackjack
Bowling.

This local version is
called Lucky Star and will be
hosted by well-known TV personality Hu Gua. The show will debut on October 2
and marks the first broadcast of the show outside Taiwan. Star Chinese Channel
is transmitted on StarHub Digital Cable.

Star Chinese Channel will
broadcast 130 episodes of the first season of Lucky Star in Singapore. When Lucky Star premiered in Taiwan in June 2005, it garnered a
31-percent audience share in the first three months. It has continued to rank
among the top three most watched game shows on pay-TV in Taiwan.

Blackjack Bowling is the only show of its kind that combines two of the
world's favorite pastimes—blackjack and bowling. The show’s format is
flexible and can be played in either a 30-minute or 60-minute format.
