BBC One Renews All Saints

SYDNEY, October 3: BBC One has renewed the Australian
medical drama All Saints, distributed by
Southern Star, for a further 43 hours that will air in early 2008.

Produced by Seven Network in Australia, the fifth season of All
Saints
aired on BBC One in a daytime slot
Monday through Friday from July 16. In Australia, the drama airs Tuesday nights
at 8:30 p.m., and has maintained an average market share of 36 percent to date
for 2007.

All Saints focuses on
the working and personal lives of the doctors and nurses of Ward 17 at All
Saints Hospital headed by Nurse Unit Manager, Terri Sullivan, an ex-nun who is
struggling emotionally and in love with an old flame—the married Dr.
Mitch Stevens. The drama stars Georgie Parker (A Country Practice), Judith McGrath (Prisoner) and Erik Thomson (Somersault).

“It's clear that BBC One viewers have really enjoyed their
daily visits to All Saints and we're
delighted that the series will be returning next year,” said Sue Deeks, the
BBC’s head of series program acquisitions.
