Nick Jr. UK Commissions Alphabet Romp

LONDON: The preschool series Alphabet Romp, which explores rhythm, rhyme and alliteration, has been commissioned from Purple Frog Media by Nick Jr. in the U.K.

The show is comprised of 26 interstitials, each based on a different letter of the alphabet. Alphabet Romp showcases a collection of poems, raps and rhymes. It will be animated for Nick Jr. by Trevor Hardy of Foolhardy Films for broadcast later this year. Purple Frog has retained all ancillary rights.

Purple Frog’s Julie Middleton, the show’s creator, said, "We are delighted that Nick Jr. has seen the potential in this property, and that Alphabet Romp can soon be enjoyed by children across the country."
