Babelgum Launches Film Festival Channel

LONDON, July 27: Babelgum today launched a channel dedicated
to the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival, an annual event celebrating short films and
music videos that kicks off in London tomorrow.

As of today, Babelgum users can access highlights from the
festivals in 2005 and 2006, and tomorrow they will be able to view short-listed
entries from this year’s awards. The work of all 2007 finalists in each of the
six categories (documentary, short film, animation, music videos, title
sequences and idents and newcomers) will be broadcast on Babelgum.

Valerio Zingarelli, Babelgum’s CEO, noted: “The Soho Shorts
Festival content adds to the plethora of niche entertainment content currently
available to Babelgum users, especially film fanatics or those working within
the industry. Both emerging and established film makers who make the final cut
can now take their talent to an international stage and further promote their
‘shorts’ to win.”
