Alfred Haber Shores Up International Sales for SAG Awards

PALISADES PARK, January 17: Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc.
(AHDI) has secured a number of sales in key international territories for the
14th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.

Among the licensed markets for the two-hour event, which
honors the best individual and ensemble performances in film and television,
are Showtime in Australia, SunTV in Canada, Germany’s ProSieben, Sky Network in
New Zealand, STAR in Southeast Asia, Israel’s
Tel-Ad, Filmnet in Greece, Belgium’s VTM, Brazil’s SBT, Kanal 5 in Sweden, AKS
in Turkey, MBC in the Middle East, Non-Stop in Scandinavia, Iceland’s ITC
Screen, Ireland’s TV6 and ABS-CBN in the
Philippines. The event will be broadcast live in the U.S. on TNT and TBS on
January 27.

This year’s SAG nominees include George Clooney for Michael
Clayton, Javier Bardem for No
Country For Old Men, Cate Blanchett for Elizabeth:
The Golden Age and Angelina Jolie for A
Mighty Heart, among others. The event will also
honor the veteran actor Charles Durning with the Screen Actors Guild Life
Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment.
