A+E Networks Elevates Ellen Lovejoy, Appoints Pair for Content Sales

NEW YORK: Ellen Lovejoy has been promoted at A+E Networks to VP, head of sales for the Americas and formats.

Lovejoy has been overseeing content sales to Canada and the U.S. as well as global format sales. Based in New York, she adds oversight of Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market as part of her new remit. Lovejoy will report to Edward Sabin, executive managing director of international at A+E Networks, and Joel Denton, managing director of iInternational content sales at A+E Networks

Joining Lovejoy’s team are Helen Jurado and Bryan Gabourie, both as senior directors of content sales, for Latin America and Canada/U.S., respectively. Jurado is based in Miami and Gabourie is based in Los Angeles. The global format sales team will also report to Lovejoy.

Jurado joins A+E Networks from Cisneros Media Distribution, where she was VP of sales and business development. Gabourie, who joined A+E Networks this past summer, comes from Rive Gauche Television, where he served as VP of international distribution and development.
