BT Vision to Feature Disney-Branded On-Demand Service

LONDON, October 20: Disney
Channel U.K. has signed a new multi-year agreement with BT Vision that sees a
range of its hit live-action and animated series, original movies and Playhouse
Disney programs available through a branded on-demand service.

Launching on October 24,
the service will make the programs available for customers to pay per view or
as part of a subscription to BT Vision’s Kids Pack. Series featured include Hannah
Montana
and Phineas and Ferb, as well as Playhouse Disney’s Mickey Mouse
Club House
and My Friends
Tigger and Pooh.

Michael Cairns, the VP and
general manager of Disney Channels U.K. and Ireland, commented, "BT
Vision's offer opens up a whole new potential audience for Disney Channel and
we're delighted to be working with them. Our mission is to use new technologies
to offer choice and flexibility in accessing our content and now Disney Channel
fans will be able to watch their favorite shows whenever they like on a per
show or a monthly subscription basis, it's their choice."
