Viasat Channels Join Norwegian DTT Network

STOCKHOLM, June 12: Modern Times Group’s (MTG) TV3, Viasat4
and SportN channels will be part of Norwegian digital terrestrial television
network operator RiksTV’s basic package.

The DTT network will be launched in Norway at the beginning
of September 2007, with the analogue switch-off completed by the end of 2009.
The RiksTV DTT platform is owned by NRK, TV2 and Telenor. Its deal with MTG
brings to the service the Norwegian terrestrial TV3, the sports network SportN,
owned by NRK and MTG, and the new offering Viasat4.
