New GM for Warner Channel Latin America

MIAMI, April 25: Alfredo
Duran has been tapped as the senior VP of branded services and general manager
of The Warner Channel Latin America, following several years with E!
Entertainment Television in the region.

Based in Miami, Duran will
report to Malcolm Dudley-Smith, the executive VP of sales and business
development for Canada, Latin America and Asia at Warner Bros. International
Television, who oversees the company’s branded linear and nonlinear channels in
those markets.

Most recently, Duran
served as the executive VP and general manager for E! Entertainment Television
Latin America, a post he has held for the past eight years. Prior to that, he
served as VP of programming and marketing for MGM Networks Latin America. A
veteran of the business for some three decades, Duran began his career at
Univision.

The Warner Channel reaches
25 million homes in 24 countries throughout Latin America.
