Globo TV Sports, MediaZone Bring Brazilian Football to U.S.

SÃO PAULO, February 28: Online broadcaster MediaZone has struck a deal with Globo TV Sports to distribute an extensive package of Brazilian football programming to the U.S., covering Internet and mobile.

The deal will see the live transmission of the 82 games from Globo TV Sports’ Brazilian Magic Football 2008 package and 46 editions of the weekly program FootBrazil. This latest offering from Globo TV Sports is now available on MediaZone at www.mediazone.com/brasil.

“MediaZone’s partnership with Globo TV Sports will allow us to exclusively offer full games and highlights featuring the best of Brazilian soccer to fans in the United States,” said Chris Campana, the director of MediaZone Brasil. “These soccer tournaments are the foundation for building our online Brazilian service, which delivers an interactive experience for sports, news, fashion, ultimate fighting and children’s programming to Brazilians living all over the world.”
