Cyber Group Animation Introduces New Preschool Series

PARIS, August 31: French producer Cyber Group Animation, in
cooperation with Planet Nemo, Canadian producer Sardine Productions and Singaporean
studio Peach Blossom Media, will offer up a new preschool series, Manon
Queen of Animals.

The 52×7-minute series, aimed at children aged two to six,
is based on the French books from Gerard Moncomble and Nadine Rouviere. It
tells the story of Manon’s fantasy life at a farm where her and her animal
friends deal with problems in their daily life in a whimsical, humorous
fashion.

Manon Queen of Animals has
been commissioned by French channel TiJi and Canadian channels Radio-Canada,
SCN, TFO and Knowledge Network. The series is written by the former head of BBC
Kids, Theresa Plummer-Andrews, and the French preschool author Alexandre
Reverend. It is to be delivered to networks by the end of 2008

Distribution will be split up between Cyber Group Animation
for Western and Eastern Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and
Africa, while Planet Nemo will handle all Asian territories.
