NBC Launches Original Companion Web Series to Heroes

BURBANK, May 11: NBC Digital
Entertainment will launch an exclusive new original web series, Inside
Heroes, which will go behind the scenes of
the making of the hit Heroes TV
show.

The series, which will consist
of eight installments, rolls out on NBC.com on May 21. The eight installments
will take fans through visual effects, music, wardrobe, stunts, make-up
effects, artwork and even the catering, creating the feeling of being right
there with the people who produce the series each week.

On May 21, Heroes Character Profiles— which take a look at
individual characters' storylines from the beginning of the season—will
also launch on the site. At launch, the Profiles will begin with Peter
Petrelli's story. Other show characters profiled are Claire Bennet, Hiro
Nakamura, Nathan Petrelli, Niki/Jessica Sanders, Matt Parkman and Mohinder
Suresh, among others. Additionally,
the popular Heroes online graphic novel
continues this summer with new chapters from renowned comic book authors Joe
Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, Steven T. Seagle and Joe Casey.

don't need to wait until next season to enjoy their favorite show," said
