TiVo Narrows Net Loss

ALVISO, March 8: With revenues up 22 percent to $57.4
million in the fourth quarter, TiVo has narrowed its loss from $21.1 million a
year ago to $18.7 million.

Tom Rogers, the CEO of TiVo, commented: "Fiscal 2007
was marked by a tremendous amount of progress in differentiating TiVo from
generic alternatives and aligning TiVo with numerous companies to weave TiVo solidly
into the future of the media world."

TiVo-owned subscription net additions were 101,000, versus
183,000 in Q1 2006, increasing overall TiVo-owned subscriptions to 1.7 million.
TiVo reported a loss of 91,000 DIRECTV TiVo subscribers to 2.7 million.
Cumulative total subscriptions as of January 31, 2007, were up slightly from
last quarter to 4.4 million. The company’s churn rate per month increased from
0.9 percent to 1.2 percent.
