Banijay Unveils 2022 Slate

Banijay has revealed its lineup of programs for early 2022, which includes the new entertainment format Starstruck.

From Remarkable Television for ITV, Starstruck sees ordinary members of the public perform live as their favorite superstars, from Amy Winehouse to Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie to Lady Gaga, Marvin Gaye to Michael Bublé and many more.

Also on Banijay’s 2022 slate is the quiz show Limitless Win, from Hello Dolly and Mitre Studios; the dating reality format The Language of Love, from 2LE Media, Motion Content Group and Banijay Iberia’s Zeppelin; and the dating series Pride and Prejudice: An Experiment in Romance, from Endemol Shine North America and Shine TV.

Banijay Rights has a slew of programs for distribution, including the BAFTA Award-winning Peaky Blinders, from Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Productions; SAS: Rogue Heroes, from Kudos and Nebulastar and starring Connor Swindells (Sex Education, Vigil), Jack O’Connell (Skins, The North Water), Alfie Allen (Jojo Rabbit, Game of Thrones) and more; Screw from STV Studios; and Chloe from Mam Tor Productions.

Additional scripted titles are Riches, produced by Greenacre Films; The Good Karma Hospital, from Tiger Aspect Productions; and Grantchester, from Kudos. Also coming up in 2022 are Playlist (Yellow Bird), The Bride (Endemol Shine Italy and Rai), The Rig (Wild Mercury) and Todo Por Lucy (Endemol Shine Boomdog and Elefantec Global).
