Janeane Garofalo to Guest Star on Foreign Bodies

LONDON: Actress Janeane Garofalo has been cast in a recurring guest role on TNT and E4’s upcoming new series Foreign Bodies.

The comedy drama follows a group of young adults venturing across China, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Garofalo will guest star as Sam, a seasoned traveler who, after 20 years working in tourism and visiting exotic places, has very much had her fill.

The eight-part series is scheduled to premiere on the U.K.’s E4 in early 2017, with a U.S. debut on TNT later that year. U.K. production company Eleven and Entertainment One (eOne) are producing the show. eOne controls worldwide rights to the series outside of the U.K.
