LOS ANGELES: Among the shows being screened for buyers by Sony Pictures Television (SPT) at the L.A. Screenings is The Blacklist: Redemption, a spin-off of NBC’s breakout hit series.

In Redemption, undercover operative Tom Keen joins forces with Susan “Scottie” Hargrave, the brilliant and cunning chief of Grey Matters, a covert mercenary organization that solves problems governments don’t dare touch. It stars Famke Janssen (Hemlock Grove) and Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist, Sons of Liberty).

SPT will also be screening the ABC comedy Imaginary Mary, which stars Jenna Elfman as a fiercely independent career woman whose life is turned upside-down when she meets the love of her life: a divorced father with three kids. Meanwhile, the CBS family comedy Kevin Can Wait features the return of Kevin James (The King of Queens) to prime time.

Drama highlights being presented by SPT include the Piper Perabo-led Notorious. The ABC series is inspired by the true-life stories of famed criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and cable news producer Wendy Walker. In Timeless, set for Mondays on NBC this fall, a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America by changing the past.
