WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channels International has picked up the kids’ invention series Think Big from Breakthrough Entertainment, and will air the first two seasons on the network’s Turkish feed starting in October.

Think Big follows top kid inventors, ages 6 to 15, as they compete against each other in an "invent-off" to see who can come up with the most innovative new invention. Each episode is set in the "think tank," a studio filled with art supplies and construction materials. The best invention wins bragging rights and the coveted Genius Cup.

“Now in its third season, Think Big is an innovative series that challenges kids’ imaginations to develop creative solutions for making life simpler and more fun,” said Nat Abraham, Breakthrough’s head of distribution. “The show also helps them learn the importance of marketing themselves and their invention. With a competitive element added in, the series inspires children to be all that they can be and fits well with NGCI’s focus to ‘invite viewers to live curious.’”

“NGCI is excited to collaborate with Breakthrough Entertainment on Think Big, a series that gives children the opportunity to embrace their natural creativity and ingenuity in a unique way that will appeal to our audience,” added Maggie Rhodes, the director of global acquisitions for National Geographic Channels.
