VIZ Media Promotes Ferreyra

SAN FRANCISCO, January 19: Gonzalo
Ferreyra has been promoted to VP of sales, publishing and home video at VIZ
Media, effective immediately.

Ferreyra will continue to report to Hidemi Fukuhara, the
president and CEO of VIZ Media. He will oversee all of VIZ Media’s book
publishing and home video sales efforts in North America and Canada. Ferreyra
has over 16 years of experience in the book publishing industry and was previously
director of sales for home video at VIZ Media.

In addition to Ferreyra’s
promotion, Brian Ige, formerly sales manager, has been named director of sales
for home video, and Moneka Hewlett has joined the publishing division as
director of sales. Both report to Ferreyra.
