Blue Ant International has presold two new lifestyle series, while Solange Attwood has been promoted to the post of executive VP of international at Blue Ant Media.
In her new role, Attwood will continue to oversee the strategic direction of Blue Ant Media’s international distribution arm. Her portfolio includes spearheading co-productions for the international sales group, presales and worldwide sales activities. She will also oversee the business’s ongoing expansion and sales offices in London and Toronto.
Crazy Beautiful Weddings, a Blue Ant Media original production, has been presold to U.S.-based cable channel UP TV. The series follows wedding planner extraordinaire Lynzie Kent as she uses couples’ unique love stories to create special celebrations for them. The series is currently in production and will be available at MIPTV 2018. Meanwhile, Best Cake Wins, created by Toronto-based content production company Architect Films, has been presold to BYUtv. Best Cake Wins is a baking competition series that sees two cake-makers battle it out in an attempt to make one child’s most awesome birthday cake imaginable a reality.
