Blue Ant Media has revealed new and returning Canadian series for the company’s specialty TV and international free streaming platforms in 2024.

The slate includes Wild Rose Vets, a spin-off of the original series Dr. Savannah: Wild Rose Vet. The docuseries follows the behind-the-scenes adventures of three Indigenous veterinarians in the prairies as they rescue and rehabilitate a wide range of household pets and exotic wildlife.

Also on the roster is My Haunted Hometown, a new paranormal series filmed across North America, as well as Hope for Wildlife: The Next Generation (w.t.), a new season of Hope for Wildlife. Blue Ant Media has also ordered two additional episodes of the previously-announced eight-part season three of Mysteries from Above.

“Blue Ant Media is returning to Prime Time with a diverse range of genre-based Canadian series that reflect our programming strategy and what our audiences crave—real-life stories of the paranormal, mystery and wildlife that surprise and captivate us,” said Carlyn Staudt, head of commissioning for global media at Blue Ant Media. “We’re incredibly proud to work with our production partners to create premium content that has global appeal.”
