Oggy, Paprika & More Enter Chinese Market

PARIS: UYoung has signed on to represent the animated series Oggy & the Cockroaches, the preschool program Paprika and the kids’ wildlife show If I Were an Animal in China.

UYoung picked up the Chinese TV and VOD rights for seasons two through four of Xilam’s flagship slapstick comedy Oggy & the Cockroaches, as well as the new preschool show Paprika, about twins Olivia and Stan, who use their imaginations while playing with friends. The company will also represent the 39×7-minute children’s wildlife documentary series If I Were an Animal.

Clara Yang, the general manager of UYoung acquisition and distribution, said, “It is exciting to become the exclusive agent for Xilam on Oggy & the Cockroaches, If I Were an Animal and Paprika. We strongly believe these titles will be welcomed by many viewers across multiplatforms in China.”
