LONDON: FremantleMedia Kids & Family has revealed that live Danger Mouse performances are slated to take place at Butlin’s seaside resorts in the U.K. for the next two years.

Launching Easter 2017, Butlin’s Danger Mouse show will run twice per family break for the next two years, totaling 724 performances. There will be an average of 1,500 audience members per show. The 50-minute production will feature characters from the TV series, Butlin’s dancers and a stage prop version of the Mark IV Danger Car. Danger Mouse episodes will also be screened across the resorts, where merchandise will be available for purchase.

Tracy Griffiths, the VP of licensing and consumer products for EMEA and Australia at FremantleMedia Kids & Family, said: “Danger Mouse and Butlin’s are both British institutions so we are thrilled that our Secret Agent will be entertaining families at their holiday resorts in this exciting two-year venture.”

Mike Godolphin, the head of entertainment at Butlin’s, added: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with FremantleMedia Kids & Family, and to confirm such a hot property for Butlin’s as Danger Mouse. As part of our strategy, we are dedicated to providing top-quality entertainment for our guests, so to be the only place families can see a live Danger Mouse show is really exciting!”
