Mondo TV Sends Robot Trains to Portugal, Africa

Canal Panda has inked a deal with Mondo TV Iberoamerica to air the first season of the action-packed animated show Robot Trains in Portugal and Africa.

Under the two-year agreement, Robot Trains will debut in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking Africa, including Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde, in spring 2018. The series is produced by CJ E&M, and is distributed and licensed by Mondo in a number of territories across EMEA and the Pacific region.

Matteo Corradi, Mondo TV’s CEO, commented: “Following the sale of Robot Trains to Italy, I am delighted to be able to announce the sale of [season] one to a major player in Portuguese-speaking Europe and Africa. I am looking forward to Robot Trains building a market in many other EMEA territories in the very near future.”
