Mexico’s Azteca to Adapt BOOM!

MIAMI: Keshet International has licensed its game-show format BOOM! to the Mexican broadcaster Azteca, which will air the show stripped in an access prime slot throughout the summer.

Hour-long episodes will be produced locally for Azteca. More than 400 episodes of BOOM! have been commissioned worldwide to date.

Ricardo Coeto, the head of research and development at TV Azteca, said, “We are very happy to produce this game show, which kicks off a new era of production for TV Azteca with a wonderful partner like Keshet International.”

Kelly Wright, the head of Latin America at Keshet International, said, “We’re excited to confirm BOOM!‘s move into Mexico, building on the seismic growth of the format in 2015. We have no doubt that Azteca’s viewers will be thrilled to experience this high-octane game.”
