Keshet International has secured a deal to bring Tuesday’s Child Television’s Killer Camp to viewers in the Netherlands via Prime Video.

Produced by Mediawan’s Skyhigh TV, the Dutch adaptation of the slasher-horror whodunit reality competition format will see 11 influencers from the Netherlands check into the ’80s American-style Camp Pleasant. One of the influencers is hatching a murderous plan, forcing them all to fight for their lives in a strategic game while competing to expose the “killer” among them for a share of the €20,000 ($20,000) cash prize.

During the day, the campers will navigate a host of hilarious challenges while the “killer” attempts to sabotage their efforts, implicating other players in the process. Each night, one unlucky camper will be picked off and “murdered,” losing their claim to the cash prize.

Filmed on location at Het Blauwe Meer (The Blue Lake) in the Netherlands, Prime Video’s Killer Camp will be staffed by club counselor, comedian and actor Ruud Smulders. The Dutch remake will be executive produced by Martine Tromp for SkyHigh TV and will premiere later this year on Prime Video in the Netherlands.

The original Killer Camp was created and produced by Tuesday’s Child Television for both ITV2 in the U.K. and The CW in the U.S. Keshet International distributes the format and finished tape of Killer Camp on behalf of Tuesday’s Child Television.

Sky High TV’s creative director Marius van Duijn and executive producer Tromp said: “When we first saw Killer Camp, we loved it immediately. We are very excited we can bring this new and fresh whodunit-game-reality-horror format to the Dutch audience and are grateful to the Netherlands’ Prime Video team for their trust and enthusiasm.”

Keren Shahar, Keshet International’s COO and president of distribution, added: “We are thrilled that Killer Camp has found a great home with Prime Video. This format is a really exciting take on reality TV that keeps younger audiences engaged and entertained right through to the end of the series, and we are confident that Skyhigh TV will do a brilliant job of reinterpreting this format for Dutch audiences.”

Karen Smith, CEO of Tuesday’s Child, said: “It’s fantastic to be working with Skyhigh TV and Prime Video on our first European adaptation of Killer Camp. This reality format is a fresh and exciting mix of sexy, young reality and game show, with an intriguing whodunit twist that keeps viewers guessing, and talking about the show, till the final ep.”
