BURBANK: The summer 2010 schedule of ABC Family includes three new original series, returning hits and original movies as well as theatrical acquisitions.

Pretty Little Liars is a one-hour scripted drama about four estranged best friends who are reunited one year after the "queen bee" of the group goes missing. The series premieres June 8 at 8 p.m. Huge, slated for June 28 at 9 p.m., is also an hour-long scripted drama. The series follows the lives of seven teens and the staff at a weight-loss camp. There’s also the half-hour comedy Melissa & Joey, starring and executive produced by Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. The show will premiere in August.

Returning to the network are the original hit series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, heading into its third season on June 7, and Make It or Break It, slated for a second-season launch on June 28.

ABC Family will also present the original movie Revenge of the Bridesmaids, a two-hour original film set to air in July. Additionally in July, the network will air its annual Harry Potter summer marathon weekend event. There’s also the annual ten-day summer event Campus Crush, taking place August 1 to 10. The programming event will feature the TV movie premiere of Wild Child, starring Emma Roberts and Natasha Richardson, debuting August 8.

“ABC Family has truly become a factory for great Millennial storytelling,” said Paul Lee, the president of ABC Family. “We’re so proud of our three summer launches, Pretty Little Liars, Huge and Melissa & Joey, and we think they’ll make the perfect complement to our returning hits The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It or Break.”
