Zinkia Hires New GM

MADRID: Zinkia Entertainment has named Iñigo Pastor, a former Disney exec, as its general manager.

Pastor had been with The Walt Disney Company for more than a decade. He was most recently the executive sales director for Spain and Portugal. Prior to that he spent five years in executive sales as the trade market and distribution director for Spain for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

In his new role at Zinkia, Pastor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations. He will also focus on the retail and commercial aspects of the company’s entertainment brands, including the flagship Pocoyo.

“Iñigo is a hands-on executive with strong team building and leadership skills,” said José María Castillejo, co-founder and chairman of Zinkia Entertainment. “In his role as general manager, he’ll be charged with oversight of our general operation and ensuring that we remain on track to meet our company objectives for the months and years ahead.”
