ZDF Preps New Nazi Drama-Doc

MAINZ,
December 2: ZDF Enterprises has taken on the distribution rights for Stauffenberg:
The True Story, an HD drama documentary
based on Operation Valkyrie, the 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

The 52-minute project
looks at the man behind the coup, Claus von Stauffenberg. Stauffenberg's son,
nephew and the last eyewitnesses to Operation Valkyrie tell their stories. The
film also features 86-year-old Ewald von Kleist, who had himself planned to
kill Hitler in a suicide attack, until allied bombs forced the meeting's
cancellation.
