William Shatner to Present Weird or What? at MIPTV

LONDON: Weird or What?, produced by Cineflix Productions and distributed outside the U.S. by Cineflix International, will receive its MIPTV launch with the iconic William Shatner on hand to present the new show.

In the series, Shatner will investigate and analyze all that is weird in the world, from paranormal phenomena to wonderous creatures and medical oddities. The series is produced for History Television of Canada. Shatner will unveil Weird or What? at a press conference at MIPTV on April 12 at 11 a.m.

“Our show is weird and wonderful,” said Shatner. “It’s also wacky. If the mystery of the world around us interests you, then this is your adventure.”

“William Shatner is instantly recognizable to generations of TV fans and has established cult status in the science genre,” commented Charles Tremayne, Cineflix’s executive VP of programming. “We are thrilled and proud that he has agreed to bring his talent and unique wit to our newest science program.”
