BURBANK: The new reality show Flashback from BlazHoffski has been picked up by Warner Bros. International Television Production, which will offer the series for international format adaptations.

Each one-hour episode takes place over 13 hours, during which time five couples are tested for their physical skills and intelligence. Everything they see, hear, experience or endure during that suspenseful time will be presented later as they face the memory challenge that will determine their fate, the Flashback contest.

Warner Bros. will be offering the format rights to Flashback at MIPTV.

“We believe Flashback will have great appeal to audiences around the world with its original, fast-moving, clever and engaging format,” said Ief Stuyvaert, the originator of the format behind Flashback. “The audience is taken on a journey with the contestants, feeling their pain and rooting for their success.”

"That Warner Bros. would pick up the worldwide format rights to Flashback is a huge recognition of all the hard work and creative efforts of the team, especially since we have launched and will launch a significant number of brand formats in the next months," added Dan Blazer, the creative director at BlazHoffski.
