VIMN Secures Sales in Spain & Portugal

LONDON: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has scored several children’s TV deals, among other agreements, with broadcasters in Spain and Portugal.

Pubcaster TVE in Spain picked up seasons five and six of Dora the Explorer, as well as SpongeBob SquarePants episodes 121 to 178 and relicenses on episodes one to 120. TV1 in Portugal picked up SpongeBob season five and part of season seven, along with Ni Hao Kai-Lan season two.

Sogecable in Spain and SIC in Portugal signed up for The Colbert Report Global Edition. SIC also went for seasons 14 and 15 of South Park and a relicense on all seasons of the animated series Yakkity Yak.

Spain’s ETB picked up relicenses of three classic Nickelodeon animated shows: Rugrats seasons one, two and three; Ren & Stimpy seasons one, two and three; and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters seasons one and two.
