Vietnamese Deals for Globo

SINGAPORE: Globo TV International, which is showcasing a varied slate at the Asia TV Forum this week in Singapore, has sold a number of titles, including the novela Two Faces, into Vietnam.

Seven Women, Two Faces and the 13 episodes of GloboDoc Wildlife were sold to terrestrial broadcaster VBC. Cable channel SCTV, meanwhile, picked up the drama Little Missy. 

The deal builds on Globo’s existing business in Asia, which includes agreements in India, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia and East Timor. “We are satisfied with our growing presence in these nations," said Raphael Correa Netto, the head of international sales. "We also credit this success to the heterogeneity of our productions which please distinct audiences. Entering the Vietnamese market is yet another sign of this."
