NEW YORK: Victoria Justice, star of Victorious, leads the cast of The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, an original teen comedy from Nickelodeon set to air on October 23.

The prime-time movie follows Jordan Sands (played by Justice), an unpopular teen who is transformed into a werewolf during a family try to Romania. Brooke Shields stars as the stern Romanian housekeeper Madame Varcolac. The Boy Who Cried Werewolf is executive produced by Doug Sloan (Dadnapped) and Lauren Levine (Bridge to Terabithia, Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh), and is written by Doug Sloan and Art Brown and directed by Eric Bross.

"Our audience will love seeing Victoria in this new role as shrinking-violet-turned-werewolf," said Marjorie Cohn, the president of original programming and development at Nickelodeon. "And Brooke Shields’ turn as the hilariously sinister Madame Varcolac is a wonderful homage to Young Frankenstein’s infamous Frau Blucher. This movie blends mystery, suspense and comedy and serves up a perfect Halloween viewing experience for kids and their parents."
