Victoria Beckham Inks Deal with NBC for New Reality Series

BURBANK, March 1: Victoria Beckham,
the wife of British soccer player David Beckham
and a former Spice Girl, has signed a deal
with NBC for a new 6×30-minute reality series from Simon Fuller's 19
Entertainment for premiere this summer.

Currently untitled, the series will give viewers an
exclusive inside look at Beckham's life as she makes the move across the pond
from London to Los Angeles. Simon Fuller (American Idol) and Kim Fuller (Tracey Takes On) are the executive producers of the new series.

Beckham burst onto the scene as a member of the popular ‘90s
all-girl pop group The Spice Girls and became known around the world as
"Posh Spice.” She sold millions of albums worldwide with the group before
it disbanded in 2001, and then became a solo artist. In 1999, she married
soccer superstar David Beckham and they quickly became one of the world's most
celebrated couples. In 2004, Beckham turned her attention to fashion, designing
a line of high-end jeans for Rock and Republic called VB Rocks. Most recently,
Beckham launched her own jeans label called DVB Style as well as her own line
of sunglasses and perfume.

"The series will give viewers a glimpse into what makes
Victoria so popular and admired as one of the most glamorous women in the
world," said Kevin Reilly, the president of NBC Entertainment. "She
makes news wherever she goes and our audience can now become insiders in this fascinating
personal view of what being 'Posh' truly represents."
