Veteran Entertainment Execs Set Up Wizard Hat Productions

TORONTO: Pam Slavin, Toni Stevens and Bill Fox have come together to form Wizard Hat Productions, a new family entertainment company.

Slavin has more than 20 years in the industry, having worked on a number of popular children’s shows. Her producing and writing credits include Little Bear, Johnny Test, Rolie Polie Olie and Berenstain Bears. Stevens has worked on hit kids’ shows such as Caillou, Arthur, Gerald McBoing Boing, Storytime with Thomas the Tank Engine and Will & Dewitt. Fox was previously the executive VP of communications and corporate development at BCE. He also served as senior VP of public affairs at Bombardier.

“We formed Wizard Hat because we want to make fresh and engaging children’s shows that we would be proud to share with our families and friends,” said Slavin, partner and executive producer. “Our team has proudly worked on some of the most beloved children’s shows, and Wizard Hat is looking forward to building on that success by creating new, quality family programming.”
