Veoh Launches New Online Video Application

SAN DIEGO, June 20:
Internet TV specialist Veoh Networks today announced the beta launch of VeohTV,
which acts as a video browser and DVR for viewing and managing online content.

“Unlike Joost, which is a
closed system with content from a limited number of sources, VeohTV supports
open Internet standards, and has access to virtually all of the video content
on the Internet, on demand,” said Dmitry Shapiro, the CEO of Veoh Networks. “We
asked Veoh.com users what they really want in their online video experience and
VeohTV is the culmination of that feedback. We believe that it will be the
dominant standard for online video consumption moving forward.”

With VeohTV, users can
access a single interface to search, browse and view all video on the Internet,
from network sites like CBS to aggregators such as YouTube, Google Video and
MySpace. Users can browse for content by channel, ie CBS or NBC, do a keyword
search, subscribe to favorite shows or channels and download and store videos
on their PCs. Content can be watched in full-screen mode on the PC.
