Venevision to Rep Shankly Catalogue in Latin America

MIAMI: Venevision International has inked a deal with Shankly Productions to represent its catalogue in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Shankly’s library includes more than 75 titles, including the 78×30-minute series Discover China, which explores the country’s 5,000-year history; the 55×48-minute Airtime, featuring a mix of action, extreme sports personalities and more; the 13×30-minute MMA H.E.A.T., which is a show for fans of mixed martial arts and pop culture; the 155×1-hour Made in Hollywood, which features on stories about actors, directors and movie producers; and the 6×30-minute Half Pint Brawlers, which chronicles the adventures of little-person wrestlers.

Cesar Diaz, the VP of sales of Venevision International, commented: “We approached this deal with much enthusiasm as we strive to expand our catalogue; and today, thanks to Shankly Productions’ more than 2,000 hours of top-notch programming, we have definitely accomplished that initiative."

He added: "This wide-ranging deal was a direct result of our previous success licensing a few of Shankly Productions’ titles. We are confident we will be presenting our clientele attending the L.A. Screenings a proposal that is sure to exceed their programming needs.”
