Vanilla Ice to Front New Show for DIY Network

NEW YORK: The Vanilla Ice Project is a new series for DIY Network that focuses on the eponymous singer’s passion for home renovation.

Vanilla Ice rose to fame with his hit Ice, Ice Baby. He has now turned his focus on a new hobby, buying land and flipping houses. The ten-episode series will show him as he does a complete overhaul on a six-bedroom, five-bathroom, 7,000 square-foot lakefront home in Palm Beach, Florida. Each half-hour episode will feature the room-by-room makeover.

The show is slated to launch on DIY Network on October 14, taking a Thursday 9 .m. slot.
