Van den Ende Fund Makes Investment in Interactive Format Outfit

AMSTERDAM, September 29: Van den Ende & Deitmers
Crossmedia Fund, the venture capital fund set up by Joop van den Ende and
Hubert Deitmers, has acquired a 30-percent interest in Fruitlounge Media, a
developer of interactive television formats.

Fruitlounge Media was created out of the recent merger
between The Fruitlounge and Marketgraph, two companies with backgrounds in the
development of interactive television formats, broadcast design and real-time
SMS/MMS exploitation services.

Erro Verschoor, the CEO of Fruitlounge Media, noted, “In
addition to strengthening the financial position of the company, Van den Ende
& Deitmers will actively support Fruitlounge Media in the realization of
its growth objectives. The knowledge and contacts of Hubert Deitmers [a former
Endemol executive board member] and the specialized team at Van den Ende &
Deitmers will bring additional value to Fruitlounge. Finally, the partnership
will provide access to the invaluable expertise of Joop van den Ende in this
area.”

Based in Hilversum, Fruitlounge’s credits include Streetcam, Perfect Match, Date Factor, Lelang
Jitu
and Klop!
