Univision Online to Become Univision Interactive Media

NEW YORK, January 8:
Univision Communications has renamed Univision Online to Univision Interactive
Media, with Kevin Conroy, the former executive VP of AOL, to serve as president
of the division.

Effective January 12,
Conroy will be based in New York and report direct to Joe
Uva, the CEO of Univision. Conroy spent eight years at AOL, and was also
the chief marketing officer and president of new technology at BMG
Entertainment.

In addition to
encompassing Univision.com, Univision Interactive Media will include Univision
Movil, with mobile offerings such as in-show wireless integrations, video, SMS
and Premium SMS programs, mobile portals, mobile advertising and an extensive
downloadable content catalogue.

Uva commented, "We
are thrilled to have attracted an executive of Kevin's caliber to lead our
newly renamed Univision Interactive Media division. The name change reflects
our broadened digital media activities and the success we have gained in our
three-screen strategy —reaching Hispanic Americans not only via
television, but also via online and mobile platforms. This initial success will
only be bolstered by the leadership of one of the most accomplished executives
in the consumer Internet and digital media space. Kevin's impressive track
record of spearheading many evolutional businesses at AOL and deep industry
contacts make him the ideal executive to oversee Univision Interactive Media's
growth and development."

Conroy said, "I am thoroughly
impressed by the popularity and success of Univision's digital media platforms
and am excited by the tremendous potential still to be realized at Univision
Interactive Media as Hispanics, who are early technology adopters, continue to
embrace new technologies. I look forward to working closely with Univision's
management team and the executives across the company's television and radio
businesses to identify new opportunities to leverage content and talent in
interactive applications and further enhance our users' experiences, while
solidifying Univision's place as the provider of choice for the best
interactive information, entertainment and digital applications."
