U.S. Deals for Globo Titles

SÃO PAULO/NEW YORK: Telefutura in the U.S. has picked up two productions from Globo TV International: the crime series Internal Affairs and the International Emmy Award-winning telenovela India: A Love Story.

The 12×30-minute Internal Affairs has already premiered on the U.S. Hispanic broadcast outlet. In Brazil, the series scored an average audience share of 42 percent in its first season, with the second currently on air. The novela India: A Love Story has been licensed into 90 markets by Globo, which notes that the show achieved an 81-percent share in Brazil. Telefutura has not yet announced a launch date for the series.
