U.K.’s Pleasure Beach Opens Nickelodeon Land

LONDON: The U.K. amusement park Pleasure Beach in Blackpool has opened Nickelodeon Land, which consists of 6 acres of land with 12 rides and attractions based on popular Nick characters and TV shows.

The amusement park’s new area features characters or themes from shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Avatar: The Last Airbender. The new area features a Rugrats Lost River Ride, SpongeBob’s Splash Bash, Diego’s Rainforest Rescue, the Blue Flyer, among others. Nickelodeon Land also features the first Nick shop in the U.K. for apparel and souvenirs.
