Two New Disney Channel Original Movies in the Works

BURBANK: A sequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth is currently in the works, as well as a movie based on the Disney comedy series Shake It Up.

Lemonade Mouth 2, the sequel to the musical drama, features the five teenage main characters who form a band in the first movie.

Shake It Up, the film, which is based on the tween dance series, is also in development. The story focuses on two friends with aspirations of becoming professional dancers after they land spots as background dancers on a popular teen dance show. The show ranks number one with kids 6 to 11 and tweens 9 to 14.
