Twentieth Century Fox Makes Promotion

HOLLYWOOD: Twentieth Century Fox Television has promoted entertainment marketing executive Jeffrey Godsick to president of Fox Consumer Products.

Godsick, who will report to Twentieth Century Fox chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden, will oversee the worldwide licensing of Fox’s film and television properties across platforms such as interactive gaming, themed entertainment, television promotions, literary publishing and consumer product categories. He will manage both the company’s Los Angeles- and London-based operations. Most recently, Godsick was the senior executive VP of Twentieth Century Fox’s feature film division.

“Jeffrey is a one of the most respected marketing executives in this industry, and we leapt at the chance to bring him on board to lead our consumer products division,” Newman said. “His track record on the features side has been remarkable, and he understands brand stewardship better than anyone in his field. With our gold standard properties like The Simpsons, Glee, Ice Age, Family Guy and Avatar to name just a few, there are fantastic opportunities to grow our business. Jeffrey, alongside Robert Marick who has done an outstanding job and remains part of the team, is uniquely suited to take our consumer products activities to the next level.”
