NEW YORK: Zodiak New York has hired Brent Burnette as senior VP of development and promoted Neil Regan to senior VP of development and current.

Burnette will be managing Zodiak New York's development slate, generating new character-driven docuseries, creating original formats and adapting Zodiak formats from the company's international catalogue. Burnette was previously the VP of current series and development at Magilla Entertainment. His production credits include Undercover Boss, Wife Swap, What Not to Wear and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Regan moves up from VP of development and current to the senior VP role. Regan has served as producer, director and showrunner on hundreds of hours of programming. Some of his past series include Wifeswap, Doorknock Dinners and The Next Food Network Star.

"Both Neil and Brent are experienced producers and fantastic developers—they have a keen eye for talent, deep relationships in the community and over two decades of production experience combined," said Mike Gamson, the chief creative officer for Zodiak New York.

Both Regan and Burnette report to Gamson and Sheila Cabano, the chief operating officer.
