Whose Line is it Anyway? Returning to U.S. Television

BURBANK: The CW is reviving the improvisational comedy show Whose Line is it Anyway?, hosted by Aisha Tyler, which is based on a U.K. format and also ran in the U.S. for eight seasons on ABC.

The series will feature the return of comedians Ryan Styles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, who will be joined by a special guest in each episode. The group will be prompted by random ideas from the studio audience as well as Tyler, and are tasked with coming up with different characters, skits and musical performances. At the end of each round of improv, Tyler will give out points to each performer and a winner will be named at the end of each episode.
