David Graber has been promoted to senior VP of cable, SVOD and emerging platform strategy at Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution (WBDTD).

Graber is responsible for strategically licensing television series, theatrical motion pictures, animation and made-for-digital (as well as other content from the Warner Bros. library) to cable networks, subscription and ad-supported video-on-demand services and other emerging platforms in the U.S. He is based in Burbank, California.

Graber has been with Warner Bros. for the past seven years, having begun his career at the studio in 2013 as a participant in the Warner Bros. Executive Development Program during which he rotated through various television distribution and marketing groups. The following year, he joined the media sales group at WBDTD, specifically focused on business development and brand strategy. Since then, he has worked his way up through the ranks in cable, SVOD and emerging platform strategy as manager, director, VP and now senior VP.

Graber, who was born in the U.S. but raised in England, began his career at The Stellar Group as a publicity, marketing and representation trainee, before being promoted to a junior agent. He moved to the U.S. in 2010, joining the William Morris mailroom and soon after, assisted several agents. He then spent two years as executive assistant to Robert Greenblatt at NBC Entertainment before moving to Warner Bros.

“This is a very well-deserved promotion,” said David Decker, executive VP of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. “David is a smart, strategic and savvy executive. He has played, and will continue to play, an important role in our distribution business, working with our team to strategically identify and develop new opportunities and business models.”
