Virgin Produced Creates In-Flight Channel


SAN FRANCISCO: Virgin America has beefed up the offerings on its Red in-flight entertainment platform, including the addition of the new Virgin Produced Channel.

Starting this month, Virgin America flights across North America can access the new channel, created via a unique partnership with Virgin Produced. The channel will offer content from such well-known names as Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Judd Apatow (Funny or Die); Ben Stiller (Red Hour Digital); Seth Green and Matthew Senreich (Stoopid Monkey Productions) and In addition to its original content, the Virgin Produced Channel will feature programming from the likes of AEG, VICE, Relativity Media/Rogue, Daily Variety, Barry Katz Entertainment, What’s Trending and Steven Schneider.

The Red platform already offers 24 TV channels, more than 25 on-demand films, a 3,000 song library, video games, interactive maps and more.
